Larry was enjoying his life in Myrtle Beach with his wife, Barbara, and dog, Baby Bear, when he was diagnosed in the early stages of multiple myeloma. When his disease progressed, he was not eligible for stem cell transplant. His doctor enrolled him in the MAIA clinical trial.
